During her residency at ZK/U, Helena Tan researched and developed her sculptural project 'bú yòng, 不用, bouillon' which centres E721/MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) as the subject, a flavour enhancer in relation to its crystallising structure and myths of clouds, dizziness, body-aches, and computing. She contributed to the OPENMAP publication for ZK/U, which replaced the usual OPENHAUS.
