During their residency at ZK/U researched and developed their sculptural project “bú yòng, 不用, bouillon” which centers E721/MSG (Monosodium Glutumate) as the subject, a flavour enhancer used in Western-Chinese cooking in relation to its crystallising structure and myths of clouds and computing. They worked on a more digital and text based practice over the two months preparing 3D sketches and contributing to the OPENMAP publication for ZK/U that replaced the usual OPEN HAUS.
