Project at ZK/U - Paul Ndunguru

Paul Ndunguru ( Tanzania )

Paul's art work is derived by the current issue on immigrants.

In Paul´s country, immigrants has been an issue for over 30 years now. Tanzania receive refugees from Rwanda, Burundi and Congo. It has been a big challenge for a underdeveloped country to host thousands of immigrants but yet the country does.

The theme of immigration carries the whole idea of creating dialogs and platform of communication for humanity. There is a saying in Swahili which is “mgeni aje mwenyeji apone” meaning “hosting a guest can bring you a good reward”.
