During his stay at ZK/U, Nobushige aims to work on his new project meditating on the modern history of Berlin through fictional birds that are imagined to have escaped from Berlin Zoo (West) and Tierpark (East) during the Cold War and got eventually rewilded in the city. Following the fabricated birds’ stories to weave a less-anthropocentric approach, the project seeks to explore the irreducible autonomy of non-humans and the interlaced reality of co-existence.
