untitled (working title) - Ricardo Carioba

Ricardo Carioba: black horizon, 2014, Sound and visual installation

Ricardo Carioba

The project untitled (working title) aims to create a site-specific intervention in a public space in Berlin, which will establish a dialogue with the urban conditions and the architectural elements of the space, as well as with its history. In a development of Ricardo’s previous poetic strategy, the work will combine video and sound elements, critically approaching at the same time the conditions of the space and topics of the current public debates. The site-specific installation will continue his investigation on the relationship between the social environment and the aesthetic experience, in which the sensorial elements of the work aim to create a free space for sensibility and thinking in order to explore the deconstruction of the syntax of our visual tradition and to open space to new forms of thinking and relating to the world.
