Defining Spatial Critique - Vincent Marquis

Vincent Marquis ( Canada )

This research project is an examination of spatial practices, their strengths and limitations, and aims to develop a theoretical and practical framework through which we can define the notion of spatial critique.

In particular, this project is guided by two main questions: What, today, can and should be considered an effective modality of spatial critique? What explains the success of certain practices and the failure of others, and how might we be able to overcome the latter?

This project is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.
