Model project for cooperative urban development

In a unique trans-sectoral collaboration of civil society initiatives and public stakeholders, ZK/U co-designed the process at Haus der Statistik - a model-project for inclusive urban planning. Within the next few years, artists, researchers, urbanists, neighbours, cultural and social actors, will co-produce this new district in the center of Berlin .

• Can common ownership and inclusive planning create better urban environments?
• How scalable are site-specific communal processes? Can the learnings from HDS be reproduced elsewhere?
• How can the learning be made accessible to public and private institutions?
