Chris Heenan, contrabass clarinet & alto saxophone Michael Vorfeld, percussion and self-designed string instruments Since 2005 Half Cloud, Half Plain with Chris Heenan and Michael Vorfeld has been creating a music of shimmering textures and ringing sustained tones, of lightning interaction and sudden changes of texture through the combination of percussion instruments, self designed string instruments and the deep spectral timbres of the contrabass clarinet.

STOOKER & JANSEN
Oriental Percussion, Belly dance and Trance Music Michael Stooker & Antonius Jansen have been playing together for some years now. They've found their own unique way to blend traditional oriental music with their own western background. While the oboe like Ghaita is swirling around hypnotically, the Daf drum is creating an infectious beat. They switch instruments and rhythms within an improvisational atmosphere and perform on instruments like Darbouka, Daf, Ghaita, Duduk and Nay. Their inspiration is found mostly in traditional Eastern village music, from Morocco, Egypt and Iran.

DOMINIK MICHAEL
Dominik Michael is using field recordings from natural and urban environments as a material to create acoustic spaces that move between silence and noise. In his sound performances traffic sounds merge with natural phenomenons in overlapping time layers and repetitive structures. Dominik Michael explores in his music the changing perception of time and space in combination with monotony and continuity.
