Wenbin Liu

Wenbin Liu (born in 1994, Wuhan, China) received his BFA in Hubei University and MFA in Film and Video from the California Institute of the Arts in 2024. During his graduate studies, he spent a gap year living and working in Guangzhou, and participated in the SOMA Summer residency program in Mexico. He pays attention to the experiences across different social contexts and seeks to explore the processes that connect the individual and the collective. Liu’s practice often integrates text and image, video and installation.
