Sel Kofiga’s practice encompasses performance, moving image and textile. He is interested in how invisible presences and immaterial phenomena shape our social worlds as well as our collective consciousness. With an interest in spatiality as a racialised subject, the metropole, the home, the market, and the natural environment, he takes his body as a site from which to process feelings of grief, faith, belief systems, ritual making, longing and pain
