Sadia Sharmin (1991) is an architect, researcher and educator based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She completed her graduation from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Sadia's field of interest focuses on art, architecture, and critical cartography to develop alternative perspectives on the architectural, philosophical, and political questions of human habitats. She concentrates on everyday life, public space, and exploring interdisciplinary tools of collaboration with communities. Sadia is a member and researcher of Habitat Forum Berlin (a non-profit autonomous platform) that works for the sake of critical housing and urban politics. She is also teaching at the department of architecture at Military Institute of Science and Technology since 2017.
