Re Diaz-Salgado

(Mexico)

Originally from Mexico City, Re explores the documentation of spaces and processes through mix-media including sound, writings, and drawings. She studied Urban Public Policy at Sciences Po Paris and Art Anthropology at the Center for Research and Higher Studies on Social Anthropology in her hometown. Decoloniality, trans-gender perspectives, transdisciplinary practices, and collectivity, are themes that often permeate her work. Re’s collaboration with different initiatives, launching collaborative design projects, volunteering at NGOs focused on migration and refugee support, social research and teaching inform her practice.
