Lee Tusman

Lee is an interdisciplinary artist who blurs the boundaries between genres, art, and life. As an educator, programmer, and organizer, he creates art, games, radio stations, bots, websites, and communities.

Over two decades, Lee has collaborated with artist-run spaces across Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York, including Babycastles, Flux Factory, Little Berlin, and KCHUNG Radio. He hosts "Artists and Hackers," a podcast exploring art, code, and community, and builds tools to make interactive art with code.

Currently Associate Professor of New Media and Computer Science at SUNY Purchase College, Lee holds an MFA from UCLA and a BA in Sociology from Brandeis University. His pirate radio station SLOW FM was shut down by the FCC in 2013, but his 10-year ban from the airwaves was recently lifted.
