Born in 1982 in Jeju island, South Korea. I moved to Seoul in my early years. I am interested in the connection between people. My work talks about someone's memories. My work includes exchanging or crossing memories between people. Most of my works are based on performance, I pile up and reproduce life’s of others through my body. I am interested in memories that are left on boundaries of a society and that whisper between people to people in a way. Recently I did works about the subway fire accident in Daegu a while ago. Now I concern 'how we can resist and protect ourselves or each others from disaster', 'how can we be open while at the same time being closed'.
