Jessica Segall is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. Jessica exhibits her work internationally, most recently at the Coreana Museum of Art, The Fries Museum and The National Museum of American Jewish History. Using landscape and bureaucracy as material, Jessica Segall unpacks ideas of environmental conservation and belonging through inter-species, site-specific work. Travels to hostile climates inspire this work; she plays with both the risk of engaging with the environment and the vulnerability of the environment itself. Influences include activism, Land Art, contemporary writings on ecological futures and queer, experimental film history.
