Jessica Gnyp is a Canadian artist working with photography, paper, drawing and installation. Gnyp studied at  the University of British Columbia (MFA, Visual Arts), Emily Carr University of Art and Design (BFA, Photography), and the University of Victoria (BA, Anthropology). Her work has been exhibited at the Surrey Art Gallery, Surrey; Bežigrajska galerija 2, Ljubljana; and the Morris and Helen Belkin Gallery, Vancouver. She has published artist projects in art periodicals including Art + Wonder Magazine, Montreal and Visual Arts News, Halifax, NS.

Gnyp recently completed a residency at the Anvil Centre, New Westminster, BC and has taught at Memorial University of Newfoundland and teaches photography at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Surrey, BC.
