Dasha and Evgeny are a pair of amateur researchers with a background in urban studies, design, and public history. The duo's current actions unfold in the field of multidisciplinary urban research and are mainly focused on the realm of immaterial and tracing the past. They employ storytelling, mapping, cyber-archaeology, and illustration to trap, explore, and reflect on lost phenomena of various spaces. They are curious about the new ways of discovering images of the personal experiences of others and projecting them onto the existing or imagined urban landscapes. Previously Dasha and Evgeny did a couple of studies on the spatial dimension of memory in the post-soviet cities, simultaneously trying to determine their places in the challenging relations of the neo-colonial context.
