Brina Thurston lives and works in New York.

Originally a filmmaker, I have begun exploring an interdisciplinary practice, expanding into such mediums as performance art, staged social situations, and installations. These works manipulate the urban everyday experience through interventions at site-specific locations using performances and installations. Much of my work is about social experiences/interactions and I often collaborates with other artists, musicians and performers.
