Amy Boulton

In her practice, Amy explores current issues around public space, labour and technology through a feminist lens. She seeks to create accessible entry points into these topics through choreographing a bodily encounter with the work. Visually she plays with expectations, using appropriated forms and humour to accommodate multiple levels of engagement.

Some forms of her recent artistic outputs include video, sculptural and sound installations, as well as experimental mapping, workshop facilitation and print publication. She makes work both independently and has collaborators with backgrounds in architecture, urban planning, interaction and game design.
