freiLand Potsdam is a self-organised centre for youth work, culture and community-based initiatives. Its extensive grounds accommodate more than 50 projects, including cultural venues, studios, workshops, social organisations, rehearsal spaces, a youth club, a radio studio and Brandenburg’s largest public legal graffiti area. Organised through participatory and consensus-based structures, freiLand promotes accessible cultural participation, self-empowerment, solidarity, sustainability and active engagement in local social and political life.
