Rhythms of Freedom is an artistic research project hosted by Radialsystem, where the artist has been granted the time and space necessary for its research and development. Her stay in Berlin is motivated by the desire to work in a democratic environment that supports artistic freedom, experimentation, and critical exchange.
As part of this process, the artist will engage with the resources and opportunities offered by ZK/U, a space where cultures meet and diverse artistic practices coexist. She intends to use this environment as a starting point for the project's research phase, drawing on the library, artistic encounters, networking opportunities, and conversations around art, freedom, and democracy.
For this research, all artistic disciplines are considered valid fields of experimentation. Performance, visual arts, sound, movement, writing, and interdisciplinary practices will serve as potential tools for investigation. Through exchanges with artists and cultural practitioners from different backgrounds, the project seeks to explore how freedom is experienced, expressed, negotiated, and imagined through contemporary artistic practices and collective dialogue.
