☽In the Name of the Moon☽ is a participatory live-action role-play (LARP) and workshop project by Ahreum Lee that explores collective responses to everyday microaggressions through the language of magical girl mythology. Drawing inspiration from Sailor Moon, participants create their own senshi (warrior) personas, developing speculative tools, rituals, and wearable objects that transform experiences of discrimination into acts of solidarity and empowerment. During her residency at ZK/U, Lee will develop and test the project's participatory framework through public workshops and collaborative prototyping sessions. Working with residents and local participants, she will refine character-building exercises, LARP mechanics, sound-based interventions, and augmented reality (AR) elements while gathering stories and perspectives connected to everyday urban life.
