Eric Andersson ( Sweden )

Eric Andersson’s work at ZK/U is grounded in a site-specific and interventionist exploration, focusing on less prominent territorial agendas within shared environments. During the residency, Eric will carry out a site-specific artistic research in the Moabit neighbourhood, aiming at further delve into interspecies micro-histories and examine walking as a place-related practice.

The intention is to engage in fieldwork in the neighbourhood through repetitive walks, observations and interactions with both the physical environment and its inhabitants, human and more-than-human alike. By working with artistic practice-driven research Eric aims to search for and shed light on the (possible) values of species-inclusive networks, by localizing and mapping nodes of cross-species co-created urban commons.

New Nodes can be understood as new points of connection, both physical and conceptual, where ecological or social orders emerge, or where old patterns are restructured through spatial interventions.
