Peter Polack
During his residency at ZK/U, Peter’s project has been to interrogate the mutations of fascism and technocracy that emerge from projects to medicalize human desire. Through research into the concept of “emotional contagion,” which treats crime and political insurgency as a form of treatable disease, Peter’s work at ZK/U aims to develop an understanding of political oppression that centers health and challenges old binaries. He is expressing this research through interactive network installations, speculative technologies, and by launching a musical autofiction at the website camboy.live.
