Aron Fogelström will continue his work connecting the human body with that of the city, using dialect and linguistics as a connective tissue. Looking at sound as a physical phenomenon in spaces within and without the human body is a way for him to materialize and make physical language and its meanings. At ZK/U Aron aims to produce a short film that explores the urban myths, folklore, and landscape in Moabit, through an auto fictive perspective. What does the space that shapes the German tongue look like? What are the bridges, overlaps and breaks between German and Swedish? These are some questions that guide Aron during his time at ZK/U this fall.
This residency is funded by the Royal Institute of Art Stockholm (KKH), Sweden.
