Jeeyoung Lee ( South Korea )

LEE Jeeyoung (GEUM Beollae) researched issues between urban planning and space reproduction focusing on material culture related to Holocaust during her stay at ZK/U. Through interviews with various people, diverse aspects coming from memorials and commemoration spaces she studied; administrative matters and decision-making structures related to urban planning, tourism and consumerist tendencies, usual mentality of Berliners. This research will be published in a form of zine and connected to the current issues in Gwangju concerning commemoration of May 18 People’s Uprising.
