While on residency at ZK/U, Kate Fahey worked on a number of texts which were developed into a series of artists books which are now in draft form. These will be printed and bound as a series of 6 in London upon my return. The artist also developed a new body of work based on one of these texts. This body of work, entitled Operations consists of a multi channel video installation and some small sculptural works. Operations explores glitches and disruptions, both in language, technology and bodies, particularly in the context of military warfare. It was installed as a work in progress at Staendige Vertretung for Openhaus Plus in May 2019.
