Scotty Enterprises is offering its space in Kreuzberg to ZK/U artists for the presentation of their research, artistic outcomes and work in general. In the second exhibition are showing: Matthew Crookes, Jan Körbes and KUNSTrePUBLIK.

Matthew Crookes: Ninety-nine Abjects in Ninety-nine Days
Ninety-nine Abjects in Ninety-nine days is a three channel video presentation. It is a catalogue of missed punchlines, or a testament for looking in the other direction to the ‘interesting’ or ‘meaningful’ action. Action, events, moments, pass before our eyes every day, but the decision as to what is important or significant is a qualitative one; it is a subjective choice that decides what is and is not worth looking at. The camera enhances this subjectivity.

KUNSTrePUBLIK shows Land's End, a story of urban transformation, as it happens in the metropolis. Burnt-out and charred luxury cars lined along the nearby Skulpturenpark Berlin_Zentrum a few years ago and sang about the urban drama of Berlin. (Video)
Assuming a variety of roles, the collective conducts experiments in various social fields. As artists, curators, researchers, and activists, they employ situation-specific formats to critically address notions of art and public. Their aim is to actively define the interface between urban research and artistic formats in public space and to continually pose new questions concerning the future of the urban realm.

Jan Körbes leaves his Silo City, which is attached to the ZK/U and shows work from the pool of REFUNC. REFUNC is operating on the boundaries of architecture, art and design and reshapes old materials to new products.
