Denis Beaubois - Currency works / The division of labour / No longer adrift project
For the open studio I will show works in progress that relate to three disparate projects that I am working on whilst at ZKU. The first is a continuation of the Currency works where the banking sector is used as a way to disseminate art works to the public. The second is a continuation the division of labour series, this time experimenting with belief as a structural tool for performance. Finally I will show tests of a new video from the No longer adrift project, where small discarded fragments, left behind from travellers at international airports, are gathered to create composite landscapes of dust.
